本次高級口譯的漢譯英難度適中，這部分考生大多感到比較自信，都寫的滿滿的，和前面聽譯部分很多的空白形成鮮明對比。大部分的考生集中在及格分30分上下，但35分以上的考生只占10%不到，40分以上的考生更是寥寥無幾。

主要難點和容易出錯的地方是：

第一段“轉眼間”大部分考生沒有譯；“知識產(chǎn)權”被譯作“knowledge rights”等五花八門的表達；“世貿成員關心的”被譯作“concerned by WTO members”或“the WTO members are concerned”，這兩種表達都不符合英文的習慣；“侵權案件”很多考生都譯成“l(fā)aw violating cases”成了“犯法案件”?！扒謇砹恕焙汀靶姓ㄒ?guī)”被錯譯成“deleted/eliminated”和“executive law”的例子很多。

第二段中的“一諾千金，有諾必踐”，雖然說很多考生翻的和正確答案有出入，但只要意思正確也可以。但“展示了一個負責任大國的襟懷”這段話，很多考生的譯文就令人啼笑皆非了，“show the big breast of a responsible country”。“受到佳評”和“受到充分肯定”如果都譯成“be praised by”盡管不算錯，但表達太單一，也得不到高分?！皬奈磩訐u”很多考生譯成“has never shaken”是不對的，因為這里的“從未動搖”是指思想上的動搖，因此應該譯成“waver”才對。
